One of the highlights around Cochabamba. During this trip we head towards the tropics, where the large rainforrest begins. A 3 hours drive brings us to Incachaca. On the way, a nice stop is made at Lake Corani. At Incachaca we will have a breathtaking track through the rainforrest, have possible encounters with unique bird-species; cross a 80 meter high bridge climb stairs constructed by the Inca’s, and go down towards amazing waterfalls.
The Yungas meaning “Warm Lands, is a narrow band of forest along the eastern slope of the Andean Mountains from Peru, Bolivia, and northern Argentina. It is a transitional zone between the Andean highlands and the eastern forests. Like the surrounding areas, the Yungas belong to the Neotropicecozone; the climate is rainy, humid, and warm.
