Rafting in Chapare

A rememberable expedition. 3.5 hours away from the city of Cochabamba lie the jungles of Chapare. The mighty river offers the possibility to raft on one of the best and wildest rivers of Bolivia: San Mateo river and Espiitu Santo river.
Inca Llajta: Inca ruins & a visit to Chimboata

Inca Llajta, the most impressive and largest Inca-city in Bolivia, served as the most eastern fortress of the large Inca-empire. Around 1460, the Incaâs took residence in this fortress which name means âLand of the Incaâsâ. Join on this interesting one-day journey to discover the wonderful site which housed Incaâs until 1525. Enjoy an amazing sight, looking out over a beautiful valley and discover a 30 meter high waterfall in the heart of the ruin. After Inca Llajta is explored, weâll visit the small colonial town Chimboata where you will go back in time.

Cerro Tunari (5050 m) mountain hiking

Climbing the impressive Cerro Tunari, its top covered in snow, is an unforgettable and heavy expedition. With 5035 meters, Tunariâs peak is the highest in central Bolivia! The mountain offers perfect hike and camp options, but reaching its snowy peak is far from easy. Taking a guide to find your way up is a good recommendation.
Inca Chaca. âBridge of the Incaâs

One of the highlights surrounding Cochabamba. During this trip we head towards the tropics, where the large rainforrest begins. A 3 hours drive brings us to Incachaca. On the way, a nice stop is made at Lake Corani. At Incachaca we will: have a breathtaking track through the rainforrest; have possible encounters with unique bird-species; cross a 80 meter high bridge build by the Incaâs; climb stairs constructed by the Incaâs, and go down towards amazing waterfalls.
Cotapachi
The Cotapachi-tour takes us to the largest corn-deposits of South-America that were constructed by the Incaâs. Once 2.500 corn-deposits could be found here. Imagine yourself in the time of the Inca, as from this location, corn was transported to all over the extensive Inca empire, all the way up to Ecuador. The tour will take half a day and includes breakfast or lunch.
City-Tour Cochabamba
A tour through the vibrant city of Cochabamba is an impressive experience for every traveler. Get a taste of the daily Bolivian life, get in touch with the warm and welcoming Bolivian people. Get flabbergasted at the famous âwitch-marketâ, visit some colonial cathedrals and the best museums, impress yourself by climbing the stairs towards âEl Cristo de la Concordiaâ or take the cableway, from which you can look all over the city.
Totora colonial village

As you can tell from the amazing Architecture, Totora used to belong to the most important cities of the region. Due to its central location, it used to be important for trade with the cities of Sucre, Potosi and Santa Cruz. Today, the city is still one of the major centers for the production of coca-leaves, potatoes and grain. During the Totora-tour, all interesting sights will be visited, including a real Chicha factory though a village that reminds us of Anton Pieck.
