Early in the morning you will be picked from your hotel and we drive in 4 hours to the tropics of Cochabamba. Along the way you will experience an overwhelming transition from the dry valleys of Cochabamba to the steamy, dense jungles of Chapare! You will go to your hotel, 4 km outside the village of Villa Tunari, and deep into the jungle. From this hotel awaits your first challenge, the Canopy Park! Here we find 3 hanging cables mounted in the steamy jungle, the cables are 60 – 100 – and 150 meters long, with these cables we will floating trough the other side of the jungle rivers. All this we find after an adventurous journey through the river and the jungle where a number of other challenges awaiting us. Finaly we will arrive to a magical jungle landscape where we find Pozas. These are natural pools formed by the river where we can take a refreshing bath. (The crystal clear waters do have a pleasant temperature).
Day two become a more serious effort than day 1, we will go Rafting on the best River in Bolivia, the Espiritu Santo. We do this with a highly experienced team of Rafters, “Bolivia Rafting” which organize Raft tours since 2001 and seeks all international safety efforts. After the rafting, in the afternoon we visit the amazing “La Hormiga”, here we will see animals in there natural environment. The owner, Rolando of La hormiga, will explain us everything about animals and rainforest. After this trip you can relax at the swimming pool or natural swimming holes at the Hotel!
The third day we visit the “Parque Nacional Carrasco, where a wide variety of biodiversity can be found in the differences in heights. We will make a great journey of about two hours through the jungle to arrive at the Guacharo cave. The Guacharo is a blind night bird that only occurs in Bolivia and Venezuela. We also have the chance of spotting the rock cock a very special and rare specie.
